The buzz around Love Guru continues, and Nida Yasir added an awkward-funny twist to it during her morning show, Good Morning Pakistan, on ARY Digital.
The host invited the film’s main cast, Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed, along with director Nadeem Baig. What followed was an entertaining chat filled with laughs, teasing, and playful jabs.
Praising the director’s latest film, Nida joked, “Nadeem Baig has finally picked the right film, Love Guru. Everyone in the industry knows that Humayun has been a love guru from the start. And now Nadeem has made the perfect film.”
Mahira chimed in with a smile, “He’s made a film that fits him perfectly. I think now Humayun seems like an even bigger love guru.”
Nida kept the teasing going, adding, “Oh! So he felt like this was the right time. Now Humayun is officially a love guru.”
Humayun Saeed responded, “Okay, this film Love Guru had to come out now otherwise, it shouldn’t have come out at all. It would’ve been a miss.”
Nida laughed and added another playful comment: “Humayun used to get caught back then. Now he won’t, because now he’s the love guru.”
With an awkward smile, Mahira replied, “No, I don’t think that’s the case.”
Love Guru has made an impressive PKR 28 crore globally so far PKR 13 crore from Pakistan and PKR 15 crore from international markets. The film’s success not only marks a strong comeback for Pakistani cinema but also shows the growing love for romantic comedies in the region.
