Historic Oscar win for Pakistan
Pakistani-Canadian director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, in 2012 became the first Pakistani to win an Oscar for her short-documentary Saving Lives. In her acceptance speech, she dedicated the award to all Pakistani women.
