A video of Pakistani TV host and journalist Iqrar-ul-Hassan discussing the possibility of a fourth marriage has gone viral, sparking a wave of reactions from social media.

Iqrar-ul-Hassan has long faced public scrutiny for being married to more than one woman. He is currently married to three women, all of whom are TV anchors and journalists.

The video is old and emerged during a welfare event in the United Kingdom, where Iqrar was present as a guest. During his speech, he touched upon various topics, including multiple marriages.

In the now viral clip, the host can be heard saying, “I generally avoid speaking about my relationships because I do not want to glamorize or set an example through my personal choices.”

He emphasized that he never intended to have three marriages, but “life circumstances led me down that path”. However, he refrained from elaborating what those circumstances were, leaving viewers curious about the reasons behind his decisions.

Iqrar clarified that he would never advise others to marry more than once, as every individual has unique challenges and personal situations that outsiders may not fully understand.

“Everyone has their own set of problems in life, and people move forward based on their circumstances,” he remarked.

“I’m not having any bad experience but I do not suggest it or glorify to do it,” he said.

He also made it clear that he has no intention of entering into a fourth marriage. His light-hearted mention of a potential fourth marriage drew laughter and applause from the audience at the event.

Despite his clarification, the lack of detail about the "circumstances" that led to his multiple marriages left many on social media questioning his narrative.

Iqrar-ul-Hassan married his first wife, former news anchor Qurat-ul-Ain, before 2010. The couple shares a son named Pehlaaj. His second marriage was to news anchor Farah, and they have been married for over a decade. He tied the knot with his third wife, journalist Arusa Khan, around two years ago. The latter two marriages were kept private for some time before being publicly acknowledged.

In a May 2024 interview, Iqrar shared that his three wives do not live together, but they maintain cordial relationships with one another. Qurat-ul-Ain and Arusa have often been spotted hanging out together.

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha 2025, he shared pictures with all three of his wives, wishing Eid Mubarak to his fans.
