Jeeto Pakistan sparks outrage after rewarding women for being well-dressed

Fahad Mustafa’s popular game show Jeeto Pakistan is under fire for introducing a controversial new segment that rewards women based on their attire, with a scooter as the prize.

The long-running show, which has aired for over 11 years, has faced criticism before, but this latest addition has sparked widespread outrage.

In the segment, four women from the audience were selected for "dressing well," and one was awarded a scooty based on audience applause. Viewers slammed the concept, accusing the show of promoting superficiality rather than recognizing meaningful achievements.

Social media users criticised both the host and the channel’s management, questioning why a game show is focusing on women’s appearance instead of more impactful contributions. Some argued that such rewards should be given to women in need, particularly those pursuing education.

Others suggested that if attire is to be rewarded, then women wearing hijabs or dressing modestly should also be acknowledged.

Many have demanded the segment’s removal, while some are even calling for Jeeto Pakistan to be taken off-air, arguing that such content sends the wrong message, especially during Ramzan.
