During his freshman season, Jeremiah Smith created a new record with 76 catches, 1315 yards and 15 touchdowns. Because of his performance, he received the “Freesman of the Year Award” at the Big Ten conference.

Great Performance in the Rose Bowl

In the 2025 Rose Bowl, Jeremiah Smith had his breakout game where Smith got MVP honour with 7 catches, 187 yards and 2 touchdowns in the 2025 Rose Bowl against the Oregon Ducks. In this match his technical skills and dedication towards the game famous him a shining star.
