There’s nothing quite like watching old interviews of famous people (who are more popular now) done by stars like Moin Akhtar. A curse left a Mughal potter, Buddhu, in trouble after he refused to help a Sikh devotee. The curse was lifted and his business flourished and in this week’s Secrets of Lahore, we explore Bhuddu ka Awa. Urooj wasn’t the only one exploring Lahore this week. Turkish superstar Engin Altan who plays Ertugrul was in Lahore and you can check out pictures of him exploring the city. Since Lahore seems to be the most happening city this week, with the opposition’s Lahore jalsa happening at Minar-e-Pakistan today, there are 13 areas currently under lockdown. Ashar, the food review guy went to the one dhabba I really wanted to try — Kabab Badshah — and told me after he got back obviously without bringing anything for the rest of us. The Queen of The Current is this week’s Sunday Superstar Khansa Maria, who is the first visually impaired Pakistani to win the Rhodes Scholarship to attend Oxford University- the Badshah of universities. Goes to show, you should never judge a book by its cover.
