China defeated Pakistan 2-0 in a penalty shootout in the first semi-final of the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy.
Pakistan and China attacked each other’s goalposts in the first quarter of the match, but neither team scored a goal.
China took the lead in the second quarter, but in the third quarter, the Green Shirts scored a goal to tie the game at one. Both teams fought hard at the scheduled time. After the match was tied with one goal, a penalty shootout was decided.
In a penalty shootout, China defeated Pakistan by 2-0 and made it to the final.
The second semi-final will be played between Korea and India, and China will face the winner of this competition in the final.
