Security forces success' thwart terrorist attacks in KP
Security forces successfully thwarted two terrorist attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through swift and effective action.
The first incident occurred at the Khyber Jamrud Bypass checkpoint, where militants launched an attack. However, the security forces’ prompt and forceful response forced the perpetrators to flee in an injured condition.
During the exchange of gunfire, two soldiers sustained injuries and were immediately taken to hospital for treatment. A thorough search operation is currently underway as security forces continue to secure the area and track down the fleeing terrorists.
These attacks followed multiple terrorist incidents in the districts of Karak and Peshawar a day prior. Late at night, terrorists targeted a Sui Gas office, a checkpoint, and two police stations. A security guard and a sub-inspector lost their lives in these coordinated assaults, while several others were wounded.
Meanwhile, in Balochistan, the outlawed Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) carried out a suicide attack on an FC convoy, killing three FC personnel and three civilians. The attack also left several others injured.
