Faizan, a student of Government College University Lahore (GCU) and a member of Falcon Triathlon Club (FTC), has successfully completed a remarkable 22 day endurance journey from Lahore to Skardu.
Covering hundreds of kilometres on foot, Faizan travelled from Lahore through some of the most challenging terrain in Pakistan, crossing the plains of Punjab and mountains of KPK & Gilgit Baltistan before completing his journey in Skardu today.
He dedicated his run to the Armed Forces of Pakistan and the martyrs of the police, paying tribute to those who have sacrificed their lives in the service of the country.
The journey also carried an important social message. Faizan used his run to raise awareness about drug abuse and the importance of protecting people, particularly young people, from the dangers of drugs. By taking his message across communities along his route, he aimed to use endurance sport as a platform for awareness and positive social change.
Faizan’s achievement also reflects the growing role of endurance sport in inspiring young Pakistanis to take on meaningful challenges and contribute to their communities.
After 22 days on the road, the journey concluded today in Skardu, marking the completion of a challenge that began in Lahore.
