After falling in love online, a 50-year-old Japanese woman named Hyasa Saika travelled to Pakistan with her daughter to marry a 32-year-old man Rizwan, reports ARY. Rizwan lives in Sargodha and met her online.
The Japanese woman and Pakistani man were in touch with each other on Facebook for the last three years. Hyasa Saika, along with her daughter converted to Islam before getting married.
According to family members of the newlyweds, Saika married for the fourth time and also has a daughter.

This is not the first time a woman has come to Pakistan to marry a Pakistani. In February, 2020 an American woman flew to Sialkot from the States to be with Butt. After being friends on Facebook for four years, Zohaib Butt and Marjory tied the knot in Pakistan.
