Katy Perry and Lauren Sánchez are all set to fly into space, and they’re doing it in style! The two stars will be part of Blue Origin’s upcoming all-women space mission, known as NS-31.

Over the weekend, Katy and Lauren shared stunning photos on Instagram. They wore fitted blue space suits with their names on them, looking both stylish and ready for launch.

Joining them on this exciting journey are inspiring women like aerospace engineer Aisha Bowe, journalist Gayle King, film producer Kerianne Flynn, and activist Amanda Nguyen.

Katy celebrated the International Day of Human Space Flight by posting behind-the-scenes photos. “Forever in awe of the Universe and its alignment,” she wrote. She also joked about bringing some glamour to space: “There will be lash extensions flying in the capsule,” she said. “Mine are glued on. They’re good.”

Lauren also added some humour: “Space is going to finally be glam,” she laughed. “We are going to put the ‘ass’ in astronaut.”

But beyond the fun, this mission is about more than fashion. It’s about representation, empowerment, and making history.

Engineer Aisha Bowe shared that she tested her hairstyle by skydiving in Dubai. Activist Amanda Nguyen, who’s been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize, said she plans to wear lipstick in space. “Women are multitudes,” she said. “I’m going to be wearing lipstick.”

Gayle King, who just turned 70, said the mission is a way to start a bold new chapter. “I’m very nervous but also very excited,” she admitted. “Please send good wishes and good thoughts.”

This all-female flight is not just a journey to space; it’s a celebration of women breaking boundaries.
