A well-known stylist, Zahra Sarfaraz from the Pakistani fashion industry, has made a bold claim that Hussain Ijaz, who recently won the Stylist of the Year award at the Lux Style Awards, allegedly stole her creative work.

Taking to social media, Zahra didn’t hold back. She accused Hussain of submitting her work as his own to the LSA jury. “Not being nominated is fine,” she wrote. “But watching my work represent someone else’s nomination? Now that’s comedy.”

She backed her claim with screenshots and images, calling them “undeniable proof.” She also took a direct shot at the Lux Style Awards jury, saying: "The @luxstylepk jury's 'competence' really said: plagiarize now, apologize never. You didn't just shoot yourselves in the foot—you blew the whole leg off this year."

Fans and members of the fashion community are demanding action.

Some comments read: “Glad Zahra Sarfaraz spoke up. She’s always been bold and honest—more people need to be like her.”

“That’s rude. These things need to stop, please.”

“The person should be penalized and the award must be revoked! It’s a joke!”

As of now, the Lux Style Awards team has not responded to the controversy.

For Zahra, the issue is bigger than just a trophy, but about integrity in an industry that thrives on originality.
